Next steps

  • During this visit I will ask you a few questions about what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping to gain in the process. There will be time for you to ask me questions and ultimately determine if we are a good fit for each other. I will review my process including schedule and fees to work with me. 

  • You will receive an email through the scheduler to complete and sign the intake paperwork, which needs to be completed before the start of our first working session. 

    The first session will start with an intake. The intake is conducted over one 60 minute session. You’ll be invited to talk in depth about what is bringing you to therapy and your therapy goals. I’ll ask a few questions to learn more about you and you will also be able to ask me questions.

  • As we begin working together in therapy, we will meet for weekly 50 minute sessions. The quality of our work together relies on your willingness to bring up important topics and challenge yourself to engage fully in the process.

    Commitment to weekly therapy is part of actively working towards change. As you accomplish your goals, we will talk together about decreasing the frequency of sessions.

    At the end of our session, I will ask you for your feedback on the flow of the session, and if you'd like to meet again. Finding a therapist that truly feels like a good fit is important.
